Deluxe Leg Straps from Bucas.

These Deluxe Leg Straps are fully adjustable up to double their initial length. They are also elasticated helping to move with the rug and horse, helping to prevent pulling of the D-rings.

Stainless steel clips help secure the leg straps to the D-rings at the 2nd cross surcingle and the D-ring for the fillet string.

Bucas recommends that only Bucas leg straps be used with Bucas products.

Bucas also recommends the correct and safe fitting of all leg straps at all times. The first leg straps should be attached to the surcingle D-ring on the rug, passed through the horse’s legs and fastened to the fillet string D-ring on the same side of the rug as the surcingle D-ring. The second leg strap should be fastened the same way but on the opposite side. Make sure to loop the two leg straps together. This action will help the rug to right itself after movement and rolling. You should be able to fit your hand between the leg straps and the horse’s leg.
