The Riding Rug Zebra – Factory Seconds is a lightweight mesh riding rug. Offering ideal protection when riding out.fits neatly around the saddle. It is easily attached with Hook & Loop attachment at the withers or pommel of the saddle. The large tail flap gives additional protection to the horse while they are ridden.

Research has discovered that flies hate the Zebra stripes! One study found that flies landed on zebra stripes at one-fourth of the rate they landed on horses. The idea is that the stripes create an optical illusion that makes it difficult for flies to land on the zebra’s skin and bite. They are unable to accurately gauge the zebra’s size, shape, and distance due to the striped pattern.

The Riding Rug Zebra is a great idea for you if you want to protect your horse from flies, midges, and other biting insects while you ride.
